There are three parts in this project series.
1. Research: Observe and record changes that happen in the randomly assigned campus map section. You are currently viewing this page. 2. Embodied Map: Mapping changes. Create a time-based map that visually represents the most exciting finding(s). Click here to explore the details. 3. Intervention: Creating changes. Create a disruption of patterns/norms out on the site. Click here to explore the details. Changes in an hour: - Grieg Garden: activities (reading, napping, playing on the phone, chatting, taking photos, and smoking) - HUB: sunlights (5/4 5:45pm dark-> 6:10pm light) Changes in a day: - HUB Yard: activities (morning-people walking by; afternoon-napping and playing frisbee) - Grieg Garden: smell (5/30 5:20pm neutral smell on one side and cigarette smoke on the other; didn't have cigarette smoke earlier) Changes in a week: - Grieg Garden: temperature/weather (5/2 hot; 5/4 chilly) - HUB Yard: how and what people wear (4/30&5/2 shorts and dresses; 5/4 long sleeves and pants, vest, jackets - Hub Yard: swing (4/30 4pm a person sits on; 5/4 5:45 empty)
